Last Updated: July 3, 2026

Company: Dinkel AI & MEDIA TECH GmbH

Application: Coffee Language (com.dinkelai.fincan) — iOS, Apple App Store

Jurisdiction: Austria (GDPR, Austrian Law)

1. Agreement and Acceptance of Terms

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") before using the Coffee Language application ("App").

By using the App, you:

These Terms are governed by Austrian law. For users in the European Union, GDPR and EU consumer law also apply.

2. What Coffee Language Is and What It Is NOT

2.1. Application Definition

Coffee Language is an educational mobile application that teaches the art and tradition of Turkish coffee cup reading — a practice recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2013.

Educational Content:

AI-Powered Practice:

Key characteristics:

2.2. What This Is NOT

IMPORTANT: Coffee Language is an educational and cultural application. The App:

2.3. Nature of AI Interpretations

AI-generated interpretations are based on analysis of visual patterns in coffee cup photos. They are for cultural, educational, and entertainment purposes only.

3. Age, Rating and Consent

App Store age rating: 12+ (as assigned by the App Store based on the presence of a moderated user community). This rating reflects that the App includes an optional community space where users may post and read user-generated content.

You may use the App's educational content (courses, video lessons, symbol library) and the AI practice tool if you are at least 14 years old, or younger with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

IMPORTANT — Community is 18+ only: Access to the community space — posting, commenting, liking, and choosing a public nickname — is strictly limited to users who are 18 years of age or older. Before you can post or comment, the App requires you to confirm that you are 18 or older. You must not post, comment, or otherwise contribute content if you are under 18.

Paid subscriptions and in-app purchases require parental or legal guardian consent for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 14 without verifiable parental consent, and we do not knowingly permit users under 18 to participate in the community space.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App lawfully and respectfully. In particular, you agree that you will NOT:

These rules apply to everything you contribute through the App, including posts, comments, likes, and your chosen nickname. We may warn, restrict, suspend, shadow-restrict, or permanently remove your account and content — without prior notice and without refund — and report you to the competent authorities where required by law. Specific rules and consequences for community participation are set out in Section 4A.

4A. Community — User Content, Moderation & Safety

4A.1. What the Community Is

The App includes an optional community space where signed-in users aged 18+ may share short text posts about the symbols, patterns, and cultural traditions they are learning, comment on and like other members' posts, and interact under a self-chosen public nickname ("wall name"). It also features a daily educational "Cup of the Day" posted by us. Your legal name is never shown to other users — only your chosen nickname is public. Participation is entirely optional. By hosting your posts and comments, we act as a hosting service provider under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (the Digital Services Act, "DSA").

18+ ONLY: The community features are available only to users aged 18 or older. Before your first post or comment you must confirm that you are at least 18 and accept the community rules. The rest of the App remains suitable for a general audience (see Section 3).

4A.2. Your Content and Your Responsibility

Any post, comment, nickname, or other material you submit is "User Content". You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit. You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to it and that it does not violate these Terms, any law, or the rights of any third party. You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant Dinkel AI & MEDIA TECH GmbH a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, moderate, and distribute that content within the App for the purpose of operating and moderating the community. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies retained in moderation records as required for safety and legal accountability.

4A.3. Community Rules

The community space is a place to learn together. By participating you agree to the following rules, which form part of these Terms:

4A.4. Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abusive Behavior

ZERO TOLERANCE: We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive behavior toward other users. This includes, without limitation, sexual or pornographic content, content sexualizing minors, hateful or discriminatory content, threats or incitement to violence, harassment or bullying, disclosure of personal data, spam, and solicitation.

To keep the community safe, we operate the following mechanisms:

We commit to reviewing reports of objectionable content and to acting on them — including removing the content and ejecting the responsible user — as required by App Store Guideline 1.2.

4A.5. Reporting Illegal or Infringing Content (Notice and Action)

In line with Article 16 DSA, you and any other person or entity can notify us of content believed to be illegal or in breach of our rules:

We review notices and, where justified, remove or restrict the reported content. A sufficiently precise and adequately substantiated notice gives us actual knowledge of the content concerned. Where you provide contact details, we will confirm receipt and inform you of our decision.

4A.6. Statement of Reasons and Contesting a Decision

Where we remove or restrict your content, or restrict your account, on the ground that it is illegal or incompatible with these Terms, we will, in line with Article 17 DSA, provide a statement of reasons on request. This includes what was restricted and the type of restriction; the facts and the legal or contractual ground relied on; and whether automated means were used. To request the statement of reasons for any decision affecting your content, or to contest a decision you believe was wrong, email partners@sonaya.ai. We will review your request and, where the decision was unfounded, reinstate the content. You also retain the right to bring the matter before a competent court under applicable Austrian and EU law.

4A.7. Enforcement and Consequences

We may, at our sole discretion and to the extent permitted by applicable law, and without prior notice and without refund:

Termination or ejection for a violation of these Terms does not entitle you to any refund of subscription fees or in-app purchases. Refunds remain governed by Section 5.4.

4A.8. Point of Contact

Our single point of contact for recipients of the service in relation to these community features (Article 12 DSA), and for Member State authorities, the Commission and the European Board for Digital Services (Article 11 DSA), is: partners@sonaya.ai. Communications may be in English or German.

4A.9. Consent to Participate

By posting or commenting in the community space, you confirm and agree — each time you contribute — that: The App requires this confirmation before your first post and enforces it on the server for every contribution.
